marilynandbob > Some friends at Pub night: Lonnie, Mark and Scott~ all firefighters from the Phoenix area~ and Dixie, our instructor.
marilynandbob > Marching to Pub Night, downtown Flagstaff! Mid-week during Pipe School, we all invade a local pub for tunes and songs (and refreshment). Here are instructors and advanced students marching from a local park to the pub.
marilynandbob > Monte, Micha and Laurie in attendance at the Pub.
marilynandbob > During Pub Night, after all the students had played, two of the hot-shot instructors showed off with a two-handed tune, which was really, really difficult and fast. But as you see, they are having fun. I was amazed.
marilynandbob > The ladies of the Westwind Pipe Band playing at Pub Night, a sort of free-for-all for any of the student pipers to perform at a local Flagstaff pub. Our tradition is the Westwind ball caps and shades- we think we're cool.
marilynandbob > Jazzercise, "skirt night". Bob lets me dress him up and of course all the ladies love it. He can make that skirt swish around!
marilynandbob > During Pub Night at the US School of Piping, Flagstaff, AZ. Students play and perform, while the instructors drink a wee pint. The women of Westwind played one of our band sets, and sounded really good! Note how cool we are, with our band ball caps and shades.
marilynandbob > Here are the instructors for the 2005 US School of Piping in Flagstaff- downtown at a bar for "Pub Night", where the students play. The fellow on the far left is Aaron, piper for the hot band, The Wicked Tinkers.
