marilynandbob > Along with Monte Mohr (also a Durango piper), we cooked our veggie-burgers along with the other burgers for the school cook-out.
marilynandbob > Marilyn and Bob on the day of the luncheon at the Air Force base.
marilynandbob > How classy can we get!! The Red Lady Ball in Crested Butte (where Marilyn used to live) is an annual fund-raiser for the High Country Citizen's Alliance, an anti-mining organization. Many years ago, when living in CB, Marilyn was chosen to be the Red Lady for 1986, and since this was the 30th year, many former Red Ladies were invited to attend.
marilynandbob > The High County Citizen's Alliance made sashes for each former Red Lady. Sure do like dressing up!
marilynandbob > Marilyn and Laura from Durango, with Glo (who is that masked Red Lady?) in the middle, at Glo's house.
marilynandbob > Same location, different look. Always a fantastically beautiful spot.
marilynandbob > Sitting in the truck provides a terrific view of the birds. Rafiki really enjoyed watching them, too. Dogs are allowed on a leash.
marilynandbob > Across from our house, snowshoe afternoon.
marilynandbob > There's a number of these guitars positioned around town, sort of a fund-raiser like the cows in Chicago and the Pumas on Parade in Durango. Can you recognize the country music stars depicted on the giant stratocaster? Oh, that's Marilyn on the left, and Melissa on the right.
Along with Monte Mohr (also a Durango piper), we cooked our veggie-burgers along with the other burgers for the school cook-out.
