Sitting in the truck provides a terrific view of the birds. Rafiki really enjoyed watching them, too. Dogs are allowed on a leash.

Bob and Rafiki on one of the many great hikes at Bosque. This is a boardwalk across some of the wetland areas- there are coots and ducks afloat in these waterways.

Another great hike on the trails at the Bosque. The weather was perfect, and the days were crisp and clear, and plenty warm. We saw deer as well as pheasant and kingfishers.
