marilynandbob > We had a wonderful time in Tucson with Bob's mother, Florence, and his sister, Phyllis. Here we are on Thanksgiving day dining at The Fountains, the excellent retirement "resort" where Florence lives. The meal was sumptuous and so tasty!
marilynandbob > Florence has a lovely little apartment at The Fountains, where she is very comfortable, and we enjoy our family visits there. Here's Phyllis, Bob and their mom.

marilynandbob > Phyllis and Marilyn at Florence's apartment. Phyllis is wearing a necklace Bob gave her, brought from one of his Africa trips. Marilyn is wearing a vest she knit earlier this year.

marilynandbob > Marilyn is showing off her prize knitting project, a jacket she made over the summer. It uses various techniques learned in a workshop from a master fiber artist, Valentina Devine. She creates "wearable art", and Marilyn feels that this jacket qualifies.
marilynandbob > Bob with an ice sculpture of a turkey at The Fountains dining room on Thanksgiving day. Note the tailfeathers... They really decorate and make the lobby and dining area so pretty for the seasons and the holidays.
marilynandbob > Bob making a pass at a mannequin in the lobby of The Fountains. At Thanksgiving they still had a huge display for Veteran's day earlier that month. There were mannequins wearing fashions and uniforms of past eras, and various photos, medal displays, posters from WWI and WWII as well.
marilynandbob > Marilyn joined a tea party of mannequins on display for Veteran's Day in the lobby.
