marilynandbob > Elk we can see across the road from our house, in a designated "wilderness area". They are not there all the time, so seeing them is a real treat. Photo taken from our South deck. Nov, 2006
marilynandbob > Our kitty, Gabriowl, who passed away at the end of November. She was old and not well, and we gave her a sweet send-off, with a lovely grave in our yard and her catnip mice buried with her.
marilynandbob > This Mule Deer doe is one of a small group that often visit our yard. This photo was taken out the kitchen window. Nov, 2006
marilynandbob > Jazzercise, "skirt night". Bob lets me dress him up and of course all the ladies love it. He can make that skirt swish around!
marilynandbob > One of our favorite hikes, outside of Mancos (a half-hour drive from our house). This was a perfect fall day for a two hour hike.
marilynandbob > In January, we drove (with RV) to Palm Springs, California for a conference for Bob (NANPA: North American Nature Photographers Association). Marilyn met up with Crested Butte friend, Tammie Mog for a hike on the nortorious "Bump and Grind" with a great view of the area.
marilynandbob > Here's Tammie with Rafiki atop the Bump and Grind (Palm Springs, CA). It was cold and windy that day, but we loved the hike to the top.
marilynandbob > Bob as Monarch Butterfly!! At the Living Desert Museum/Zoo in Palm Springs. Unfortunately, the unusual cold weather left the butterfly pavillion with few flying butterflys. We did see some resting and hiding.
marilynandbob > Mother and baby giraffe at the Living Desert Museum/Zoo in Palm Springs, CA. Many great outdoor exhibits with the animals free-roaming in good environments.
